Being gay is not a sin. According to the Bible, it is.
The Bible tells us that homosexuality is, in fact, a sin against God. However, I personally think that the only thing the Church does not approve of is the sex between homosexuals. This goes hand in hand with why we don't approve of contraceptives, abortions, oral, etc.
